Our faithful reproduction of the Panton Chair by Verner
Panton is a classic in furniture
history. Designed in 1960, it has gone through various stages following
changes in the development of plastic. Today, thanks to the availability of
polypropylene, the basic idea behind the design of a single-piece yet
comfortable chair has been realized. The Verner Panton chair is still one of the most popular modern chairs today. In 1967, the Panton Chair went into mass production, it was immediately regarded as a sensation and won many awards. One of the first chairs is exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Today the Panton Chair belongs to the classics of modern furniture design. As striking as modern sculpture, this classic piece is appropriately durable and easy to clean in cafés or restaurants, and is comfortable enough to use as an occasional chair in an office or residence. Available in colours white, black, yellow, blue, orange and red. |
Our quality of reproduction furniture is in no way affiliated or implied to be in association with Herman Miller, Vitra, Cassina or Fritz Hansen.
